Refer yourself

If you’re new to us, you can refer yourself up to four times. After that, the referrals need to come through one of our partner agencies.

If anything about that’s unclear, or you’d like to talk it through first, please get in touch.

Self referral

How self-referral works

Before you start, two things to know:

  • You need to live in Winchester city, the surrounding villages, or Alresford. We don’t cover the whole Winchester District. If you’re not sure, check out the area we cover here.
  • If you need baby formula, nappies or other baby equipment, the Winchester Vineyard Storehouse is set up for this and may be able to help you faster.

The form takes about five minutes. Choose collection if you can come to one of our hubs, or delivery if you can’t*.

(* We are only able to offer deliveries to people who do not live within 2 miles of a food hub, or who have mobility issues, AND have no friends or family who can collect for them)

If you’ve reached 4 self-referrals

You can still get help, but we’ll need you to talk to an agency like Winchester City Council or Citizens Advice first. They can also help you look at longer-term options.

There are also 2 pantries in Winchester: Unit 12 and The Carroll Centre. for further information, click on the buttons below.
